Use these strategies when encountering situations of Conflcit:
 
Empathy -Place yourself in the other person's position and experience what the world looks like from their perspective.
 
Self-Control- You should be in control of you.
 
Respect- yourself  and the other person
 
BE CALM
 
Establish Boundaries- Outline what it is you want to achieve
 
Body Language- Make sure your body language is in tandem with your words
 
Use Neutral Words instead of Negative Ones
 
Employ Listening Techniques
 
Validate the person with whom you are in conflict
 
Reframe Your Words
 
Avoid making stereotypes of people
 
State your position briefly
 
Be Honest and Direct
 
Be Non-Judgemental
 
Be Open and Flexible
